Ice Fishing is Evolution’s fishing-themed speed game show, launched on 6 August 2025. A virtual money wheel determines whether the round ends with an instant payout or moves into one of three fishing bonuses. Multiplier boosts can increase the bonus awards, with a published maximum of 5,000x the qualifying bet. [1]
The main distinction is between the amount placed on the winning bet and the amount spent across the whole round. A large fish multiplier applies to its corresponding wager; it does not multiply every chip on the betting layout.
Our Verdict
Ice Fishing’s appeal is its focused format. The wheel provides a quick resolution, while the fishing reveal gives bonus rounds a clear visual centrepiece. Evolution explicitly developed it as a speed game show rather than a lengthy studio production. [1]
Our assessment is that this suits players who prefer a small set of betting options and a straightforward bonus reveal. The limitation is repetition: increasing the size of the possible fish award supplies much of the variation, rather than a succession of different player decisions.
The other weakness is how easily the headline return can obscure the complete wager. Covering several outcomes makes it possible to receive a payout while still losing money on the round. That distinction matters more than whether the screen labels an individual bet a win.

How to Play Ice Fishing: Gameplay & Rules
Place chips on one or more outcomes before betting closes. Random boosts may then be applied to the wheel, which spins to determine the result. A matching Leaf bet settles immediately; a matching fish bet enters its corresponding bonus. Players without a qualifying bonus wager can watch the reveal but receive no bonus award. [2]

Wheel Multipliers
Leaf boosts can be 3x, 4x, 5x, 7x or 10x. Bonus boosts range from 2x to 10x and apply to every wheel segment of the selected bonus type. If that bonus lands, the boost increases all its fish values before the catch. [2]
Because boosts are assigned after betting closes, the displayed boost is information about the current round, rather than an opportunity to change an accepted wager.
Ice Fishing Bonus Rounds & Fish Multipliers

| Bonus | Fish multiplier before a wheel boost | Ceiling with a 10x boost |
|---|---|---|
| Lil’ Blues | 3x–100x | 1,000x |
| Big Oranges | 4x–200x | 2,000x |
| Huge Reds | 10x–500x | 5,000x |
Evolution publishes the unboosted ranges; the boosted ceilings are our calculations. The host gradually reveals the caught fish and its multiplier. [1][6]
For example, a 20x fish with a 4x bonus boost produces an 80x award. The presence of a boost alone does not tell you how valuable the eventual catch will be.
Ice Fishing Statistics, Payouts & RTP
Ice Fishing Wheel Statistics and RTP
| Bet | Wheel segments | Share of wheel | Published uncapped RTP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leaf 1 | 23 | 43.40% | 97.10% |
| Leaf 2 | 23 | 43.40% | 97.10% |
| Lil’ Blues | 4 | 7.55% | 95.69% |
| Big Oranges | 2 | 3.77% | 95.60% |
| Huge Reds | 1 | 1.89% | 95.17% |
Segment counts and RTP figures come from the published rules. Percentages are our calculations: segments divided by 53. They describe the published wheel layout, rather than observed round frequencies. [3]
The three bonuses together occupy 7/53 of the wheel, or approximately 13.21%. Under an equal-probability segment model, that is roughly one bonus in every 7.57 rounds on average. It is not a schedule: the average does not impose a maximum waiting time.
The same distinction applies to Huge Reds. Its 1/53 share gives a theoretical average interval of 53 rounds under that model, but approximately 14.88% of independent 100-round samples would contain no red result at all. A long gap is therefore not, by itself, evidence of an unusual outcome.
Payouts and Total Round Return
An ordinary Leaf win pays 1:1; a 10x Leaf result pays 9:1. [5] Bonus fish multipliers represent the return on the matching wager; the initial stake is not added again. [3]
Consider two hypothetical rounds:
One Leaf bet: a £1 stake winning at 1:1 returns £2, for a £1 profit.
Three bonus bets: £1 on each bonus costs £3. If Lil’ Blues returns 3x, its £3 return offsets the entire round’s stake. The net result is £0, even though the blue wager won.
Likewise, £1 on each bonus followed by a 100x catch returns £100 against £3 spent: £97 net profit. The displayed 100x refers to the winning £1 wager.
All Bonuses places the selected amount on each of the three bonus spots. [5] Selecting £1 therefore commits £3 across the bonuses. Read the total wager before the countdown ends.
RTP and Payout Limits
RTP is a theoretical long-run return on money wagered, not the probability of winning a round. At 97.10% RTP, the corresponding house edge is 2.90%; at 95.17%, it is 4.83%.
For equal stakes on all three bonuses, our calculation from the published uncapped figures gives a combined RTP of approximately 95.49%. This is a stake-weighted calculation, not a separately published All Bonuses figure or a guarantee for a particular session.
The rules also give lower RTPs when maximum stakes interact with the cash payout cap: 95.15% for Lil’ Blues, 95.00% for Big Oranges and 94.55% for Huge Reds. Their euro table specifies a €500,000 maximum round payout. These are that ruleset’s figures; check the active table’s limits. [3]
A multiplier ceiling and a cash ceiling answer different questions. The first describes the largest possible multiple; the second limits how much can actually be credited.
Watch Ice Fishing Live & Mobile Gameplay

The presentation combines a live host, wheel results and a progressively revealed catch. [6] Its entertainment depends on the contrast between a quick main round and the suspense of discovering the bonus award.
The operator rules document click/tap betting, Repeat, Double and Undo controls, alongside recent results and personal game history. [5] These controls reduce the effort of placing wagers, but they also make the total wager worth checking: doubling several bets changes the round’s cost across all of them.
For mobile play, the useful practical checks are whether the total stake remains readable and whether you can confirm accepted bets before the window closes. Fast betting intervals leave less time to correct a mistaken tap.
We have not independently tested phone layouts, stream stability or loading performance. This assessment concerns the documented format and controls.
Ice Fishing vs Crazy Time
Crazy Time is a useful comparison because both games combine wheel outcomes with multiplier bonuses. Its four bonuses are Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko and Crazy Time. Cash Hunt asks players to choose a target; the Crazy Time bonus asks them to choose a coloured flapper. [4]
| Comparison | Ice Fishing | Crazy Time |
|---|---|---|
| Main emphasis | Speed and a focused fishing reveal | Variety across four bonus formats |
| Bonus presentation | Three fish categories with different award ranges | Coin flip, target selection, pachinko and a bonus wheel |
| Player involvement | Bet selection, followed by the documented catch reveal | Some bonuses include individual selections |
| Stronger fit | A simpler, more repetitive format | More variation between bonus rounds |
The comparison is about format, not a claim that either game offers a profitable way to play. Ice Fishing’s smaller set of options makes the rules easier to summarise; Crazy Time provides more changes in presentation and interaction. [1][2][4]
Frequently Asked Questions
How often are Ice Fishing results updated?
The tracker requests the latest Ice Fishing result and recent round history every 30 seconds. Use the results period selector to request recent history for the last five minutes, hour, six hours, twelve hours or twenty-four hours. The table shows the rounds returned by the feed for that selection.
Can I see Ice Fishing’s highest win today?
The published maximum multiplier is 5,000x the qualifying bet. Choose the last 24 hours to explore recent multipliers. The feed may limit how many rounds it returns, so the largest visible multiplier is not necessarily the highest win today.
Is Ice Fishing a Slot?
No. Evolution describes it as a live speed game show built around a virtual money wheel and fishing bonuses. [1][2]
What Is the Highest Multiplier in Ice Fishing?
The published maximum is 5,000x the qualifying bet: a 500x Huge Reds catch with a 10x boost. Cash payout limits still apply. [1][5]
Does Every Player Win When a Bonus Appears?
Only matching bonus wagers receive an award. [5] A payout on one bet can still leave the complete round at a loss if other stakes exceed that return.
Can I Play an Ice Fishing Demo?
Evolution’s public game page provides a gameplay video. A playable free mode should be confirmed with the operator; a video or an unofficial wheel simulation is not the live game. [2]
